The Australian Fashion Chamber’s Australian Designer’s Abroad program was launched in Paris in 2015 to connect the best emerging Australian brands with international media & buyers.

This March seven designers will present their collections as part of Paris Fall 16 Ready-To-Wear Fashion Week. The line-up includes: Bianca Spender, Christopher Esber, Ginger & Smart, Rebecca Vallance, Romance Was Born, Tome and STRATEAS CARLUCCI.
Introducing: Christopher Esber.
Since founding his eponymous label in Sydney in 2010, Christopher Esber has built a global reputation for precision tailoring. His penchant for perfection and focus on conceptual, monochromatic design earned him an Australian runway debut at age 25 and the L’Oreal Melbourne Fashion Festival Design Award in 2012. Most recently, Esber was awarded Vogue Italia’s Most Talented Designer Award for 2015. His background in tailoring infuses collections with menswear-inspired structural design techniques while his use of technical fabrics maintain a sense of undone ease.
The label employs a purity of expression which allows for the creation of clean silhouettes, structured fluidity, and a design sensibility that whispers rather than shouts. Employing negative space, muted colours and a unique balance of masculine and feminine influence, Christopher Esber’s skill in pattern and cut make him one of today’s most forward-thinking young designers.
