Lead Engineer – Sydney
We’re looking for an experienced and passionate lead engineer to take our existing platform to the next level. This is a huge opportunity to join a fast growing company and play a significant role in the engineering direction – with substantial equity and cash compensation.

About You
As our engineering lead you will be instrumental in helping us grow and scale the business. Your voice will have a significant impact on our business.

You Will
  • Be responsible for the management and future development of all aspects of the Flaunter platforms.
  • Scope further software development opportunities for the platforms.
  • Plan, architect and develop product enhancements.
  • Help shape the strategic direction of our software.
  • Guide and provide leadership and support to all developers in your team.
  • Have an understanding of what we’re doing (and why) and a passion to get involved.
  • Be hands-on and detail-oriented.
Your Experience
  • 5+ years’ commercial software development experience (including two years RoR).
  • Experience in running automated tests and documenting your code.
  • Experience scaling and optimising web applications.
  • Proven ability to adapt to changing priorities and requirements.
Nice to have
  • Experience working in a tech start-up.
  • Computer Science or engineering degree.
  • DevOps experience.
  • Passion for great UX.

Product Designer – Sydney
We’re on the hunt for an experienced and passionate product designer to take our new platform to the next level. This is a huge opportunity to join an early stage startup with traction and revenue – and own the product design and experience end-to-end. Flaunter is a small but awesome and extremely dedicated team. We have a culture based on talent, passion, ingenuity, fun and determination. And with a large global problem to solve – we’re only just getting started.

About You
You are deeply oriented around actual customers and the value a product brings to those customers. You understand that the user experience of a product is as important to customer value as the underlying functionality.You’re flexible and adaptable, as well as focussing on high quality deliverables.You may not always have all the answers up front, but you’ll never let that stop you.

You Will
  • Work with the whole team to build a next-generation web application with a focus on an exceptional client-side experience.
  • Speak with our customers to identify pain points and opportunities.
  • Analyse requirements and reduce them to their essential problem.
  • Brainstorm solutions to problems with cross-functional team members.
  • Create the final visual designs that become our products.
  • Prototype the expected user experience using tools such as Invision, Principle, and Framer (or code!).
  • Validate your designs using appropriate user testing techniques.
  • Build efficient and reusable front-end abstractions and systems.
Your Experience
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in UX/UI.
  • A portfolio that demonstrates experience in product thinking.
  • Expert knowledge of web technologies (HTML/CSS).
  • Advanced proficiency with design and prototyping tools such as Sketch, Photoshop, Invision, Framer, Principle, or JavaScript.
  • The ability to work as a member of a multi-disciplinary team, while still maintaining the capacity for self-direction with little supervision.

Business Development Manager – Sydney
We’re on the hunt for an entrepreneurial, energetic and outcome-driven BDM to join the team in Darlinghurst, Sydney.

Flaunter already works with some of the world’s biggest brands and well-known publishers.

As the key BDM you will be responsible for generating new business through a variety of techniques. You will build a qualified stream of opportunities to achieve monthly and quarterly sales goals. Your efforts will be 100% supported by powerful case studies, an already impressive client list, and a team who cheers you on, every step of the way. Just as important, we compensate based on performance.

About You
Selling is your passion. You are a creative thinker who has the ability to deliver ideas while keeping tactics in mind. You’re a self-motivator who’s able to work in a small team, thrive on a fast paced start-up environment, and love a good vino on a Friday!

You Will
  • Generate new business through prospecting, cold calling, negotiating, and closing.
  • Build and manage a qualified sales funnel of opportunities.
  • Achieve a monthly/quarterly/annual sales goal.
  • Manage a high volume of outbound contacts to uncover qualified sales opportunities.
  • Identify prospects’ business needs and goals to determine solutions.
  • Create and maintain appropriate pitch documents and sales tools.
  • Develop and use professional account management tools and follow up procedures including documentation of all sales activity.
  • Research the market, and identify opportunities accordingly.
  • Report fortnightly and monthly to CEO.
Your Experience
  • Minimum 2 years of sales and or PR/ media agency experience required.
  • A strong, proven record of meeting and exceeding sales goals. Ideally, you have called on a variety of categories including (but not limited to) fashion, interiors and beauty.
  • Extra consideration given to candidates with both brand and PR agency contacts in the fashion, interiors and beauty markets.
  • Proven ability to manage the sales process from prospect to close. This includes experience with: email outreach campaigns, cold calling, setting appointments and conducting sales meetings [both in-person and online] for a successful outcome.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills illustrated by your ability to influence stakeholders and achieve results.
