Allora Collection introduces the Ellis Cape — an evolution of one of the brand’s most recognised silhouettes and a new direction for the Melbourne label.
Launching in May 2026 as a limited first release, the Ellis Cape has been re-designed in a new brushed wool–cashmere coating with an elevated finish, softer hand feel and refined tailoring.
The release marks a new chapter for Allora Collection as founder Tabatha Brixton evolves the brand into a broader modern womenswear offering, while retaining the cape silhouettes that have become synonymous with the label over the last decade.
The Ellis Cape has been designed to layer effortlessly over knitwear, tailoring and everyday dressing, balancing structure with softness.
Designed for versatility, the Ellis Cape transitions effortlessly from everyday wear through to weddings, events and elevated occasion dressing.
Available in a modern, grounded colour palette designed to integrate effortlessly into an elevated wardrobe, the first Ellis Cape release introduces four refined shades:
Espresso. A rich deep brown bringing warmth and sophistication.
Ecru. A soft light neutral offering a clean, modern feel.
Black. Timeless and sharp with a polished edge.
Dark Olive. An earthy, understated tone adding depth and versatility
The Ellis Cape is priced at $695 AUD.

ABOUT THE ELLIS CAPE
The Ellis Cape features a structured funnel collar, concealed front closure with discreet snap fastenings, tailored shoulders and deep welt pockets.
The silhouette has been designed with slightly generous proportions to allow layering while maintaining a clean, refined shape.
Each cape is fully lined and fully block fused to create structure through the body while maintaining softness through the fabrication.
Finished with precisely topstitched back seams, the Ellis Cape is designed to create subtle structure and shape while maintaining a smooth silhouette.
The new brushed wool–cashmere coating gives the piece a softer, more elevated hand feel while retaining the tailored structure that has become a signature of the brand.
